Softears - Discussion & Appreciation

Yes, Softears are able to surprise! I've gotten to familiarizing myself with RSV for now, but I'm still a little busy with work and I pay attention to them sporadically. I noticed that playing with tips in the case of RSV makes more changes than in the case of RS10. I had to try a lot of different tips (I'm already tired of doing this, haha) and so far I have chosen two options: 1) these are the complete silicone tips (S) the same as I use with the RS10. This makes it sound massive but dry at the same time. 2) The second version of tips with which RSV surprised me is the old 2-flanged, large transparent ones from Hifiman Re0 (this makes the sound volumetric, well-balanced, but unusually beautiful and musical). This version captures melody and dynamics.
But with an in-ear installation, oddly enough, I do better with the RS10. It would seem that everything should be the other way around, but no, with RSV, in my case, with the installation, different tips and the difference in sound, everything is more complicated.

I was about to say those are capacitors and blue ones look very pretty!

2 grand for these high end IEMs.. thats just too much for me right now. If I can sell some of my other stuff, I could get the funds..
It's rare for me to be so hyperfocused on one company but Softears is it for me!

In general, in the case of RSV, I have settled on foam tips for now. Sounds POWERFUL - WOW! )))
I want CIEM !!!

I connected RSV to my powerful stationary R2R DAC / AMP MyST1866 OCU v.2 ... so I got to the Paradise Lost song "Isolate" (I don't listen to this kind of music, but I often use it in my compilations for testing) and mine balls pressed against my chin. When the next Bullet For My Valentine track "Scream Aim Fire" sounded, I realized that I needed to finish and return to my beloved Joe Sample and David T Walker, Billy Idol, Spandau Ballet, etc. Haha))

It's sounds powerful, smooth, beautiful and well balanced at the same time. Without a hint of distortion.

So i've been listening to my RSV for almost a week now,and i gotta say theese are really nice sounding iems.
And i agree with what HansBarbarossa wrote in the post above, that the RSV are powerful, smooth, beautiful and well balanced.
What really suprised me is that massive bass! Graph wise they should be a bit more reserved in the bass compared to my Clairvoyance, but theese are really fat
sounding iem and can kick like a mule!. They really sound more like a DD driver than a pure BA,which is cool.

So far i'm really happy with this purchase!

Just P.S. to my future review RSV (my final thoughts) Haha :)
Softears RS10 is an intellectual musician with a conservatory education, a daring careerist, in a burst of perfect sound, straightforward, honest and ambitious. Very cool and expensive model - not for everyone.
Softears RSV is an experienced musician or sound engineer, bohemian, self-confident, sedate, well-versed professional who found his sound and understood the "true taste of wine". An affordable model that will appeal to many from demanding audiophiles to gourmet music lovers.

I've got Softears RSV & Turii, and I think I'm going to wind up selling both unfortunately. I've bought too many IEMs lately! Ha ha... Anyway, I can't seem to get a reliable enough fit with the Turii, and for me the RSV and EST 112 are kind of redundant for my needs!

Anyway, if anyone is interested in either, shoot me a message. I'll list them in a couple days here on the classifieds.
