So Who’s Been to Jail?

Another very interesting and insightful story!

Total time served by Head-Fi'ers to date: ~171.4 days. We need another 11.1 days to make a half year. Let's go Head-Fi. If you've never been to jail, it's time to get off your okole! Who will make the sacrifice? (Don't be a patsy's ass. That was a joke.)

In the spirit of Head-Fi, I've been researching obscure laws for one that I could break with a clear conscience. It seems that it is in fact illegal to go out in public in Chicago if you are ugly, so, I'm taking one for the team...and am buying Sam a plane ticket to Chicago.

The guy was half arrogance and half attitutde. I was incarcerated for pretty much the same thing while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. Only there, the Polizei (spelling?) will hit you back. I was a little drunk at the time...

the reason you were in jail probably was just mate, sorry.

So, there I am, Christmas Eve at the shopping mall. I'm playing Santa Claus, because, well, I needed the money. Booze ain't cheap, you know? Last group of kids for the night, escorted by two nuns, probably orphans or make-a-wishers or somethin' sappy like that. The kids, not the nuns. I was pretty tired, and a bit out of my proverbial gourd--long day, and whatnot, so I goes to thinkin', "Do nuns wear underwear? What kind?" So I take one tiny peek up the old broad's poncho, and the next thing I know, some Mall Security guy has me up against a wall with one of those plastic ties around my wrists. Cut like Hell, too.

The Po-Pos showed up pretty quickly, and took me downtown. It was a short trip, because the mall was downtown as well. They throw me in this tiny cell and told me to 'sleep it off'. I was like, "Sleep what off? I was just curious, you a##holes!" So they left me there for some time, maybe a few hours, maybe a few minutes, and then they took me out to analyze my breath. This guy hands me a tube and says, "Blow". I replied, "You first, Buttercup." They tossed me back in the cell and left me there 'til morning, Christmas Day. When I woke up, had a piss, and such, they opened the door and took me out. "Hey Santa, whatcha get me?" "Some balls, skeezix!" They roughed me up a bit and threw me out in the snow. I went to the packie and bought some Peppermint Schnapps, something festive, for the Holiday. I drained that sonb!tch at the bus stop and tryed to clean the vomit out of my beard with an icicle. Well, it seems that I passed out before the bus got there, because I was back in jail when I woke up.

When they let me go the second time, the cop asked, "So, buddy, was it all worth it?" I said, Hell yea, who knew Nuns could get hemorrhoids?"

Well, in my case I have never been to jail. As a young child living in Japan, however, my brother (4 years old), myself (5 years old), and the big kid(8 years old) slid underneath a large double door. We were reeeally skinny and the gap was very small. Well, it turns out that this was on a U.S. Airforce Base. The door was for a medical warehouse. We found some military rucksacks and went down the isles putting bottles of pills in our sacks. We didn't know what it was, just some blue pills, yellow pills, white pills, red pills and bottles with liquid medicine. Once we filled our rucksacks, we slid back underneath the door. So we walk home in the early evening and put the sacks on the outside of our bedroom window sill. So we sneak into the house and pull the rucksacks into the bedroom window. We start pulling the bottles out and looking out our bounty, not knowing what it was. Turns out red ones barbiturates. White ones amphetamines, and so on. Then a knock on the bedroom door. Busted, its mom and dad. So the next day, they contact the military police, who then contact OSI(Office of Special Investigations). A detective comes to the house and interrogates me and my brother(4 and 5 years old ). We of course blame everything on the BIG kid. He threatens to put us in prison, and then we cry  In the end our father has to pay a $100.00 fine, alot of money at the time. But No, never been to jail.

Hauled in for questioning, detained, but not jailed.

(Someone's weed in my car on a police locker search days, zealous cops took to cars in the parking lot I guess.)

All in all a funny experience that ended with me almost killing a good friend of mine.

The usual, just an over nighter for drunken fighting in Glasgow. Still made work the next day. Couldnt get a good sleep for some a**hole in the next cell singing freedom songs. No charges brought, but the police were a bit heavy handed.

Never been to jail, but got pretty close when i got pulled over with my ex-girlfriend for driving without a licence (both only had provisionals). She had been using the car when the parents were away, and had locked the keys in the car (don't ask, i have no idea).

We called a locksmith who came round (at about 1am) and unlocked the car, but she did not have enough money on her, so we had to go to the nearest ATM (but he would not drive us), so she drove. Having paid him, she was annoyed/flustered and pulled out straight in front of a squad car.

Needless to say, if both the officers had not been male, and she had not pulled the sob story on them, i think we would both have been in trouble! (Interestingly they still "booked" me and took all my details, while she was fine!)

Every girl that I know has been pulled over for speeding at least once, but not gotten a ticket. Each time I've been pulled over, I've gotten a ticket.

Now, to stay on topic, I've been arrested twice. Once for fighting and once for being drunk underage.

Yikes, it's a good thing that the cops didn't run a check on you from your other thread. The decision could have gone the other way.

Never been to jail. Early to rise, early to bed keeps me out of trouble and makes me a very boring person.

Oh, a few more things, I keep her below 55MPH, pay my taxes, say my grace and look both ways before crossing.

Yes, I agree on that one. Although, both of these arrests were from when I was a minor, so they shouldn't show up on my permanent record. I'm not sure if it would show up in a police check, though..
