I thought you were going to say she was sitting somewhere else.

My 780's should come next Thursday. What do you all suggest is the best way to efficiently burn them in? I've heard people saying 12 hours really loud then 12 hours soft for a few days... others claim more bizarre, technical methods.

Or does it really not even matter?

I would say start off soft and then whatever. I have used pink noise but to be honest I prefer music with bass and highs because changing music tends to work the drivers more than the steady pink noise.

So far these ALO modded 780 with Jenna Labs cable sound pretty darn good with my iBasso D2, which has a little over 24 hours on it. The 780 drivers/cable have 343/88 hours on them respectively.

. Anyways, I really like the sound of the 780's now. I really noticed the muddy sloppy bass after a few hours of burn-in, but now it's tighetning up. I never believed in burn-in until now. They sound GREAT straight out of my Sony S618.

I am giving mine a good working over. I have high hopes and why not? I am listening to Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon. Great stuff, that is.
