I can also confirm that 2.11 is now working. I went through the factory restore since I did not come from 2.10 but the previous version.I was on 2.10 and I can confirm that 2.11 is now a valid file. They must have reuploaded it as the file size is almost double what it was yesterday.
I installed 2.11 and it has completely broken eARC for me. Did a power cycle of everything and it’s still not working. Next I think I’m going to try a full factory restore even though the release notes say it’s not needed when upgrading from 2.10 to 2.11.
Edit: eARC is working again. Did a full factory restore and power cycled both my A16 and tv and that seemed to do the trick.
I use a Firestick connected directly to the Realiser. How do you get Tidal Dolby Atmos to the Smyth Realiser A16?
My current way of using my Windows 10 PC and the Tidal App wasn‘t successful in the past. I also tried my Apple TV. Again not working properly. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for the tip.I use a Firestick connected directly to the Realiser.

Exactly. Is your ATV not up to spec?Thank you for the tip.
I guess you then control it via the HDMI out of the Smyth Realiser to a display?
Just ordered a Fire TV Stick 4K Max with Wi-Fi 6. Comes tomorrow. Looking forward to see how this will work.
for the Apple TV you will want to make sure its on the latest firmware version.. then go to the settings and in the Audio area turn on Atmos... then for Tidal goto the manage subscriptions and verify that you have " Hifi Plus " .... for connection to the A16 you should be able to direct connect the Apple TV to an HDMI input or the way I have mine I use my AVR for single output to the A16 HDMI and use the AVR as the switch for each device... Apple TV, OPPO,Playstation... for PC to work you shouldn't run the Tidal from a browser... you need to download the Tidal App and run Tidal native from the app... this way you will get Atmos and the MQA if your devices are compatable... for the Apple TV just use the Tidal App and it will work the same...How do you get Tidal Dolby Atmos to the Smyth Realiser A16?

FYI... You need a Tidal Hifi Plus to stream Atmos content.

As Realiser A16 cannot process DSD (DST) signals, the source (for example, a SACD/BD player) provides DST conversion to PCM. 5.0 DST to 5.0 PCM. Prior to the firmware 2.11, Realiser A16 rendered 5.0 PCM signals as 2.0.I would bet that I am not the only A16 owner with a small library of music SACDs in 5.1. While I am very much aware of the fact that DSD is a miniscule niche format, I was intrigued by the following statement in the firmware 2.11 pdf:
"The handling of PCM over HDMI and eARC has been upgraded to include the popular 5.0 DSD surround format." Hmm.
An easier option is to download the Dolby Access app. It's technically for Dolby seminars or something but it has the usual Dolby Vision / Dolby Atmos clips on the front page. However they do require Dolby Vision to play.on the Apple TV 4K you should be able to go to the TV app... search for Atmos Movies and play the trailers back... just make sure the header for the movie shows it has Atmos sounds...
