agreed. maybe can put down the head-fi username instead because some audio gears don't have serial number printed on its body.

In last Monty's Fujiya event, I did that too putting PostIt stickers all over my gear - I was actually dropping off my stuff & not attending the event myself.

Currawong was nice enough to bring my stuff back to me the next day & stuck the PostIt's on my back .

Yep, it's a good idea to label your stuff too.

I've sent out emails to four different venues and hopefully we can get a favourable response. I doubt it, but we will see how it goes. There is still time so I'm not in a rush and I think I have fall back options if they come to naught. 
 
Also, if any of you stay in a condo and the function room is pretty big, that would be the viable way forward I reckon, otherwise, another thing to look at is tertiary institution venues.

Last time when I was still playing hifi, bought mine from Musiclink AV at Shaw Tower.

Yup, on the basis that we will have to pay to hire out a venue, how much is everyone willing to push for? In addition to that, would the amount include food etc?
