two questions.... one - the comply foam tip got stuck to the inner rubber part (not the nozzle - and I can't get it off..any suggestions on how to remove it? its like its glued on- I tried putting it in the freezer no luck. Does anyone know how to order replacement filters? Right now I only have the blue ones. thanks !

1 The Shures nozzle is made of steel, not rubber. The Comply foam tip has a plastic/rubber inner part and foam outer part. I am not sure what you mean exactly, but to me it sounds like you arre trying to separate the foam and the plastic of the Comply tips, instead of removing the Comply tip from the Shure nozzle?
To remove the tip; just grab the foam firmly (give it a good squeeze) and then twist and pull gently.
2 To order spare filters, you should contact Shure directly

You have just butchered an innocent little Comply foam

The foams aren't supposed to come off their plastic stems. The plastic stem (with the foam attached!) just goes on and off the metal nozzle of the SE846.

DOH. as least i can just put another comply tip on- i was thinking that was part of the headphone. Easy fix, thanks.

On second thought: is it actually a Comply tip?
Mine are not Comply, but Shure olives

That's definitely the stem from a Shure olive. I'd keep that around, it makes a superb adaptor if you want to use wider bore tips from other brands.

Yeah it sounds great. Anything by Hans Zimmer really benefits from an IEM that digs deep!

Wow, they both work very well with the SE846’s. But I’m thinking about forgetting about DAPS altogether and using my iPhone with a amp. It’s just a personal preference.

Or get a V30? Then you don't even need the amp
