Shure KSE1500 Review - Shure KSE1500 Sound Isolating Electrostatic Earphones

Does anyone recommend a better micro-b to lightning cable than the shure cable from Moon audio? I'm on my second where the micro-b bends out and is almost broken its connection, it's flimsy and breaks the audio connection very easily. it would be great to have like a 1" cord with both connections at right angles that fits the energizer and the phone when they're stacked, instead on the section of cord that sticks out and gets damaged when bent.
That one is the only real option AFAIK, there are no right-angle versions that I can find.

Maybe consider upgrading to an iPhone 15  there are a lot more options available for right angle USB C to micro USB, I have several of those that work with the iPhone 15.

Maybe not "better" but I saw this: https://shop.tegal.com.au/products/...e-controller-usb-cable?variant=20734154997871

I'm curious - would folks recommend the $9 apple dongle or the internal DAC for audio quality? The internal DAC's achilles heel is the microUSB connector, which seems to wear out annually. I'm on my fourth lightning-to-micro cable, if not fifth

Dont insert $9 in between.
Use a Ru6 or using internal dac as you do.
If you use ip6, this may be not the case, but it feed analog to kse so good!

Looks like it would scratch an itch quite well.
Not like how it looks, there's no problem.
About sound: Big stage. Real sens of big size drum and real feel of vocal.
Any single Spinfit did not suit my preference

Which DAC is better than the original KSE 1500?

Many.

Care to elaborate on what you are looking for?

I like the Mojo2 KSE1200 combination personally.
