So.. from the graph and description, tape pro has heavier filter fabric to reduce the peak and roll of treble, 2 pin connector instead of mmcx, with some bass adjustment (that I assume you could replicate on the original tape) ?

where you did you get tape pro for 95?
Original tape, the screws are decorative, housing is totally solid in those areas. But I imagine the pro has a small vent hole on the ear side of the driver, and different diameters or filters inside the screws. Still feasible to copy (if this assumption is correct) but would require disasssembly and careful drilling.
Edit: not that I have any desire to reduce the bass, and that would be a lot of work, but I might try adding some filter fabric and getting an A/B measurement with a dayton imm6

I've found Tape Pro on 3 stores but all for the same price - $129. Was able to get it for $107.55 on the DD Audio store (Linsoul) with a $15 coupon and a 5% discount for coins.

How you get the $15 coupon? I could only see $9 for me. Also any idea on warranty length when buying from AliExpress? I see only a 75 day buyer protection.
To get any warranty claim you need to send it back to China or where the Seller is situtaed.
Yes...though this 11.11 sale is not bring any benifit about this particular product.

I got the $15 coupon from 1 of the 11/11 promotion games they had on over the last couple of weeks. There's no way to get it now though unfortunately.
I just discovered that I can unscrew the sound hose on the tape, why is this a feature?
