Frequency response with a random IEM coupler from taobao: https://world.taobao.com/item/39515603526.htm

Looks like the treble is quite smooth (1/24 oct smoothing looks the same as "no smoothing", with the exception of some high frequency noise), my ears concur.

Are these officially on sale anywhere yet? I did not see them on Null yet. It looks like shozy changed the Web page up a bit for these though. I'm guessing they will officially be out to general public soon.

Is this raw or with compensation. If raw, they look quite bassy.

As much as it seems that these may be really good and I may even have one of these soon hopefully, I am wildly speculating that the final version may be bassier than I thought. As much as I have nothing against bassy in-ears, I hope that the Zero don't turn out to be another bass monster.

Other than that, like most other overhyped products that I have tried or owned in the past personally, I don't really expect these to be worth $500, even sound wise. Don't get me wrong, it's always good to have something new out there for everyone, though.

To be fair, Shozy never claimed to be going after 500 dollar iems, the thread starter did.

Man, that graph looks like they smoothed out the treble ala tdk ba200? Or am I seeing it wrong, haven't had the chance to demo it yet though

I wouldn't read too much into the overall balance of the graph as that's just with an uncalibrated taobao coupler and my computer's mic in. What is intriguing is that the 1/24oct smoothed peaks and dips in the treble look about as mild / smooth as others' ARTA results for other earphones... with the default 1/3oct smoothing (i.e. much more aggressive smoothing). This speaks to the quality rather than the quantity of the treble.

Uncle H20 will be joining you all. How could I resist with such a previous admiration for Shozy Alien.
