Mate, I love the appearance of these headphones too much to open them up.

If you ever get curious there are most likely 3 screws under the earpads that will let you have a peek inside.
But from the looks, these kind of flat earpads are stuck down with some double sided tape... so to preserve them in that condition it may be best to leave them be.

Check out the vents on the side, they look awesome! The cable entry is still relevant to this day wow!

I did a picture blowup on those 80's Maedens in the boxed picture there and compared to the size of the TRS. I figured they would hold about a 30mm driver max, they are cool ! Guess they are back up again.
