I believe they're early 2000s era, I saw them in a 2003 catalog from Sennheiser.

No they are definitely older.

1993 or so probably. Even the HD 600 are from the '90s. Old stuff.

Wow! I was born in 92. Pretty cool! They still sound great. My speakers are Polk's from 88, so I'm not shocked.

My favorite grados are the old pink drivers too. Seems like I was born at the wrong time, eh?

If you want an old headphone, take a look at eBay. There's always a LOT of vintage cans up. I search through them quite often, I usually go through 1700 or so.

Yeah I've had them since new.  I think it was either 1978 or 1979.
