Please...

Yeah, I posted about it in the official Alessandro MS1 fan club thread here http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showth...201465&page=47

Basicly, I just ripped the pads of an old pair of Altec Lansing AHP-512's (I'm sure similar cheap 'phones would work) and then they seemed to just fit onto the comfies... With no glue needed!

We should make a sticky of this kind of stuff. There's a "Post pics of your builds...." and "DIY Cable Gallery!!" in the DIY forum. Perhaps some "Headphone Stand Gallery!!" and "Post pics of your entire setup..." threads are needed? Meh, here's some pics of mine.

That's a headband of a Sony MDR-V700Dj stuck on one of those banana stands you can get at Bed Bath and Beyond. Works beautifully! The pleather used on the CD3K headband is very impressionable, and even after modding it with a spool or hair curler, it would still leave marks/indents after only a few hours. Before any permanent damage could be done, I ripped apart my Vfartcannons and made this Frankenstein beauty which has performed beyond expectations. I really don't know if there could be a better headphone stand built for my application.

I love ghoststand, but for me, I like the headphile look. All my stands have engravings...not sure how well you can see from pics...my K340 stand has the AKG symbol, the Darth stand has my avatar, the Senn stand is the hummingbird one many of you may have seen on Larry's site, and I'm also having an ebony and bloodwood stand being built right now for my K1000s.
