It does not come in the main box. Mine is arriving in the next shipment. Not sure if it is standard.

Slipped my mind last night to share photos of the packaging that the M9 Plus comes in.

Sweet. I have the M8 and its box has the cutout for the various IEM plugs which makes it a bit wider. This box is nice and clean. Maybe I'm collecting Shanling DAPs. Who knows?

Nice one! Agree that the M9 Plus has a organic sound without losing the details and dynamic sound quality.

@Shanling I'm curious, if you can provide guidance that would be nice. M8 was characterized by Shanling as a JADE sound. Along these lines, how does Shanling characterize the M9 Plus (and M9 for that matter)? Also, many of us buy from Muiscteck, can you provide info on when Musicteck will get M9 Plus units?

Not sure where you got the JADE sound? Our chinese team sometimes likes to run with these bit random words, it's fairly typical for Chinese market.

For my ears:
M8 was the warmers, M9 was too neutral or even V/U shaped, M9 Plus takes it much closer to the M8. Expect slightly warmer sound, but with higher fidelity than M8.

Each M9 Plus comes with case, but it's in separate packaging and some distributors might receive the case slightly later.
