Man, so many good choices for DAP lovers. M8 made me fall in love with music. Shanling missed the boat with M9/M7 imho but M6U is a good step in direction. M9 Plus may be the M8 successor many have been looking for.

@Shanling I'm curious, if you can provide guidance that would be nice. M8 was characterized by Shanling as a JADE sound. Along these lines, how does Shanling characterize the M9 Plus (and M9 for that matter)? Also, many of us buy from Muiscteck, can you provide info on when Musicteck will get M9 Plus units?

Anyway, look forward to giving this a listen when it lands in Jaben Singapore some time this week.

It is good that the M9 Plus has gone back to the convenience of the more traditional 3.5mm and 4.4mm sockets. Much as I do like the sleekness of the M8 and M9 with the interchangeable socket.

I like it! It is very musical. Black background. Excellent treble extensions and sparkle. To me. I am listening to it right now with the FitEar DC Ti/Ode to Laura. Female vocals are seductive.
