I notice while playing tidal masters everything is at352.8khz is it upsampling? And can you change it?
That's the main point of MQA playback.

If you wish to have files in the normal Hi-Res without upsampling, you would have to choose other streaming service.

The main point of mqa isn't to upsample every recording, it is to play at it's recorded resolution. I.e in other media applications some mqa are 96/24 others 24/192
MQA files are available as either 44.1 or 48kHz. All software or MQA hardware then unfold it.
For example, if you use simple Tidal app as a MQA Core decoder, you will get 88.2 or 96khz playback on all files.
Current DAPs are running in mostly 8X or 16X MQA, unfolding the files to 352.8 / 384 or 705.6 / 768

Ok then that is the purpose of your software not mqa . I have two mqa DACs M2 Tech Young Mkiv &3, they unfold the original sample according to its specific sample rate. Some are 96 some 352etc. Not all software upsamples mqa files was my point :)

New Firmware Update available

Full notes and download links: https://en.shanling.com/article-AndroUpdate0122.html

Note: We will be starting holidays tomorrow, will be gone until February 15th.
Any reason why my M6 randomly hard shutdown when I'm set it into LDAC bluetooth/USB DAC mode? It seems like this happens very rarely, but I have to hard reset it to make it back to normal again.

Also, are you guys going to upgrade the DAPs lineup to newer Android version soon? I'm really hoping for it!

Well, if it's completely random, hard to guess. Maybe check on items like invehicle mode and standby power off, if all turned off.

And yes, we are planning more models on the new Android platform we introduced with M9.

Yep seems like in USB DAC mode, the system will crash and needs to be hard reset. In Bluetooth AMP mode, my bluetooth connection will randomly disconnects too. I'm at the newest firmware too.

That also happens to me in USB DAC mode, it suddenly goes black and need to force a hard reset.

Just to be clear, which version of M6, which firmware and which version of USB driver are you two running? Will try to recreate the issue.
