Are you connected to WiFi? Mine does this sometimes if I have WiFi off

I'm not. But tht should not be a prerequisite for UAPP to play

I think every now and then it does a licence check. Connecting to WiFi normally resolves this for me

According to UAPP. Leave WiFi Active for the first 24 hours of playback after installing. The software will randomly ping the server a few time times to verify the license then you won't need wifi any more. Just turn wifi on for the next 24 hours and you should be fine after that

That might explain my issue, don't think WiFi was on that long when first activated uapp

I picked it up either on the play store notes or their support forum. The software will randomly verify the license three times ( I think, dont quote me) and once all three verifications are done the software is permanently unlocked no longer needing wifi.

Just to finish this discussion. I JUST received my M6 Pro 21 and installed UAPP - here's the Validation Instruction on 1st run of the software

Hi everyone. I connected my M3X to my MacBook Pro in USB DAC mode. My player recognized it but it says "the dac is not recognised as MQA and cannot do DSD either". Is this normal? I use Audirvana on my macbook as my music player. cc: @Shanling

Update: I started playing music and my m3x just disappeard from the options, now I can't turn it on or off, sceen is not coming off and there is only red led light, what do i need to do

Update 2: I solved my issue even tho it shows that it plays MQAs just fine. Also I was able to reset the device by holding the power button around 10 sec.

Sure, the ESS 9219 DAC/amps are rated at 2.0 V rms, so 2.0 V for single ended and 4.0 V for balanced (dual)... no load.
