Somehow I feel the need to challenge this. Is there substantiation to this assertion?Neutron is the only 3rd party app by far that i know can do truly bit perfect on this device, UAPP resamp

Are you talking about USB out, or about normal playback? Majority of apps in our system should play with no resampling, at correct sampling rate of the original file. Of course, assuming that the app isn't doing some resampling on its own.Neutron is the only 3rd party app by far that i know can do truly bit perfect on this device, UAPP resamples

Is that mx3? So there’s a silicone case for it?Looky looky UAPP MQA is LIVE!![]()
For how long have you had the R5? Does it sound better than M3X? Also, the output power of R5 is more than M3X, right? It can drive demanding iem/headphones easier?
If you want small, the Sony A105 is the smallest full android DAP AFAIK. No balanced circuitry though.
Yes, i prefer the TPU case then the "X" mark the spot.Is that mx3? So there’s a silicone case for it?
haha i can agree with that X mark thing. But the leather case looks really pretty.Yes, i prefer the TPU case then the "X" mark the spot.![]()
I would like to know more about this. UAPP on M3X works flawlessly in bit-perfect mode.Neutron is the only 3rd party app by far that i know can do truly bit perfect on this device, UAPP resamples
I have used the new poweramp standalone equalizer on another device and enabled it. It ia supposed to be system wide. When I play UAPP in bitperfect mode, the poweramp equalizer is still working and applies the equalizer to the playing UAPP even in bit-perfect mode. So I guess UAPP isn't really bit perfect. I think neutron reminds you of the active DSP and need to disable it before it plays in bitperfectI would like to know more about this. UAPP on M3X works flawlessly in bit-perfect mode.
But honestly i have no idea how the insides of UAPP works like if they resample so they do that on every device?

DSD is supported only in Native app and Neutron. UAPP and other will be converting it to PCM.I assume there's some conversion process done while UAPP is playing DSD files (correct me if i'm wrong). No matter what DSD sample rate played it always shows like "Direct: 352.8kHz DSFDSD: 2.8MHz 1bit". Flac files played just fine
