Hi, I am currently on Firmware V1.53. I am trying to use M3X as usb dac to my windows 10 PC.

When I connect the player to the PC, the only options I get in the usb option are "charging" or "file transfer". Is there any settings that I missed?

You firstly need to switch it to USB DAC mode before connecting to PC. Swipe down to view quick access icons. There is one for Storage / USB DAC Switch.

I have a problem with Amazon Music HD, my M3X doesn't seem to want to play Ultra HD.
When I select a song in Ultra HD (24-bit / 44.1 KHz for example), the application tells me that the song is received by the M3X in HD only (16-bit / 44.1 KHz). I have selected the option of streaming and downloading in HD / Ultra HD in the settings of the application.
In fact, when I select a song in Ultra HD, the acronym Ultra HD appears for a second on the song page and then changes to HD.
Does this happen to other people? Or is it just a display bug? I don't have this problem on my Oneplus 9 Pro and the new Fiio M17.

Yes, I can confirm that M3X has this issue with Amazon Music. It was reported to our software team and awaiting fix.

I received my M3X the other day and installed SoundID via the apkpure app. SoundID installed fine and ran without issue. I tested the EQ with Spotify and it was working. Didn't spend a lot of time testing what music players or streaming service apps work with SoundID EQ. Anyway, just wanted to share that SoundID installs and runs without crashing. I guess for those looking for an EQ solution that is free and runs on M3X give it a try.

Select 'Add point', then set dB, Hz, Q parameters... repeat those steps until the PEQ is setup how you like.

whenever i launch the shanling music app, ia pop up saying 'an app wants to turn bluetooth on'...didnt have this before. anyway to adjust the setting so that it will not prompt me to turn on bluetooth?

also, i listen to the m3x about 2 hrs a day and about 2to3 times a week, a song will play and suddenly have a blackout for about split second beofre music continues. when i play the same song again, there is no more issue. happens to random songs. is this due to sd card speed? i am using a samsung evo 256gb card

Check if the Synclink in the app is turned off. Otherwise it will be asking for Bluetooth.

In our experience, card speed has no impact on player performance.

Además, escucho el m3x aproximadamente 2 horas al día y aproximadamente 2 a 3 veces a la semana, se reproduce una canción y de repente tengo un apagón durante aproximadamente una fracción de segundo antes de que continúe la música. cuando vuelvo a tocar la misma canción, no hay más problema. le pasa a las canciones aleatorias. ¿Esto se debe a la velocidad de la tarjeta SD? estoy usando una tarjeta samsung evo de 256 gb bit usando la aplicación de Amazon

Dije lo mismo el otro día. Aunque me pasa con la música de Amazon. Este fin de semana prestaré atención para que Shanling pueda revisar. Pero creo que no sigue un patrón. Es aleatorio.
