My m2x often frozen.
Occurs with scrolling in album mode
This is FW 2.7.
Hope for urgent improvement.

Please send us PM here or email to info@Shanling.com, will try to check if there is something we can try to make your M2X run better.

Thank you for the support on Facebook!
Thank you again Shanling Audio for the premium support . Everything is working fine on the M2X with a new memory card! Those from Amazon - especially the cheaper ones - are rubbish! I returned it directly to Amazon

Glad it's all working now!

To be honest, I nowadays buy memory cards only directly from Sandisk official store, do not trust anything else.

@Shanling
I encountered a weird bug, I haven't tried format factory yet but nothing seems to be working so I guess it's inevitable.

I downloaded a song, wiped the tags and applied replaygain information, as I always do. I moved it to the DAP memory and when I tried to play it, it said "Not Supported, Playback Failed". I thought that maybe something went wrong when I copied the file so I connected the DAP to my computer and I noticed that the file I copied is empty. Literally, empty, 0 Bytes. I tried again but same thing happened - once the library updating is over, the song file is suddenly turned into 0 B version. I also cannot remove it. When I try to delete it on the device, I get an error: "Can't be removed". When I delete it via PC, it reappears after library update is over.

I'm not sure if it's the song that triggered this bug or it's just a coincidence because no matter what song I try to move to the DAP now, it gets deleted once the library update is over. Anyway, that's the song: https://www56.zippyshare.com/v/0ySaWSd3/file.html

If it's too confusing, I can record a video.

Downloaded your song, I'm unable to recreate such issue on our M2X.

You can of course try factory reset to see if it helps. But such case of files disappearing is something that happens when fake cards are used. Can you either try different card in your M2X or try this card in different device?

I'm not using a "fake card". I'm using Sandisk Ultra 64 GB class 10, bought in a reputable store. I don't have other DAPs nor microsd cards. Factory reset didn't help. I decided to format the card. First I tried the quick format. Didn't work (files were gone but once I disconnected the device, it updated the library and everything was still there). Then I went for the real format option which took like 2 hours to perform. Surprisingly same thing happened - DAP magically restored the files. Could it be that even the full format didn't really wipe it? I came up with another idea. I filled all the space on the card using FillDisk. Guess what - same thing happened. How is it even possible?

EDIT: I forgot I can also remove files in the DAP itself. I did that, I connected it to the PC and I the card was empty. I thought I finally made it but no... after disconnecting the device it scanned the card and all tracks magically popped up again.

Can you try to move card between different devices(like your phone and computer) and see how will it act?
Main advice would still be to test different card.
