Will the auDioquest DFR/DFB work as a dac on m2s? Just curious
Just saw a review for a player called ruizu which looks very similar to the m1. Didn't know they used generic shells and software

Disabling clock removes the lock screen by the way (so only one press on power button is necessary).
It'll probably work, but remember that the DF and similar portable DACs don't have their own source of power, and so it'll have to draw power from the DAP, which may severely shorten the battery life depending on how much power it draws.
Thank you for the info. Added an explaining sentence in there. CheersDisabling clock removes the lock screen by the way (so only one press on power button is necessary).

I think someone mentioned it earlier in this thread, actually as annoyance as the clock disappears from the top bar too, I was just curious to check it out and suddenly realised that it's a feature, not a bug!Cheers for this little tip. I wonder if Shanling is even aware of this. I had previously suggested that there should be a way to disable the screen lock, but they never suggested this.

I have the shanling m1 and im curious about m2s for the sound signature which is more brighter?? I preferred with brighter sounding, is the m2s upgraded from m1?? Im also curious about life time of knob shanling m1 since the m2s have 500,000 clicks and 10,000 rotates so how about m1?? Is it same?? I didnt found any information about that at manual guide also website
