Hi @Shanling,

I still waiting for your answer regarding my firmware issue, because I have stuck in 1.2 firmware? Could you give me any information how to solve this specific problem, please?
Thank you

Firmware with fix to your problem is ready, I should get it tomorrow.

Cheers for this little tip. I wonder if Shanling is even aware of this. I had previously suggested that there should be a way to disable the screen lock, but they never suggested this.

Yes, I think I was even first to even mention this.

I truly need to start the "Shanling tips" series of posts I have prepared :D

Anyone experiencing screen problems after update to 2.10, here is new 2.20 firmware with fix to this problem: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz_m_D8_7ujLcVhWaHBfdXBNRmc/view?usp=sharing

This new build only fixes screen issue on very small number of devices, if you expereince no screen problems, you don't need to update and can wait for next update coming soon.

Good job on putting out a fix. However, I'm curious...why would this screen issue only affect some units? I.e, what's the hardware difference between them?

The new feature that allows the user to turn on and off fade in is interesting.

With that feature set to off, it seems that the problem I had with songs being cut off when first starting a new folder has not been evident (at least so far).

I hope that remains true. A real improvement.

I still hope that Shanling fixes the remaining bugs with the original M2. The frequent crashes and periodic glitch going from one song to the next seem very fixable. Those problems do not show up on the M2S when I use the same memory card so its not the memory card.

The M2S still needs a case with strap like the M1.

Anyone compared this device to the aune m1s?

i used m1s couple days, currently using m2s.

m2s has way better ui and extras like eq, bluetooth etc.

m1s has upper hand on sq. way better layering and detail. although it has more bright sound. maybe a little digital...

m2s has more analog sound, recessed treble with more warmth. i prefer m2s's analog sound but wish it has the detail of the m1s.
