Thanks to golov17 for tipping me off to this upcoming DAP from Shanling, an update to the original Shanling M2.

Translated from a Russian forum:

"New audio player Shanling M2s is in monoblock format of aircraft grade aluminum, the front and rear panel covers 2.5D glass, the front panel adorned Retina 3 inch screen. To adjust the volume using the potentiometers legendary Japanese production of ALPS. For ease of use on the left side are three physical buttons are located. Navigation is traditionally carried multifunction wheel.

Shanling M2s autonomy of 9 hours of continuous operation, the standby time of about 300 hours. The player is equipped with a Type-C interface, the presence of stated Bluetooth 4.0 with support Apt-X, is also implemented option works as an external DAC. This looks very interesting,is that native DSD 256? Another great transport for Hugo2. Wish they can add bigger batteries for longer playback time.

Looks like a great option / alternative in the sub $200 category. I like the look of the volume control.

Wish it had a line out. Wonder if it will have OTG ? Its peers have that now.

Definitely looks like something to consider along with the Shanling M1 and Cayin N3.

This sub $200 space has become really exciting lately. I suspect it will put pressure on FIIO to go all out on the X3 III

I wonder why they didnt include a line out. Cant cost that much to implement the N3 has it. I wonder it they add anything the N3 does not? Besides bigger screen and sexiest look. I guess they want to leave it to the M5. Still weird. Damn many choices out there for everyone at a low cost Bravisimo.

Why are you guys assuming it doesn't have LO? I'm betting it'll just be a shared HO/LO to conserve space. A lot of small DAPs are doing that these days.

In any case, I've emailed my contact at Shanling and am hoping to get some official specs and pics to add to the threat soon...

My only issue is MUSE8920, there are  alot better sounding opamp out there. However for that price and the features speculated in the video this device seems too good !

Seems to be a go-to opamp for Shanling. Someone there obviously likes the sound it introduces in the audio chain
