Have you posted a photo of N3 and M2s side-by-side? I'm curious about the size difference.

You can always check my M2s video in my YouTube channel, bro. I line it up against a few competitive DAPs for comparison. Link's in my signature.

Yes, you can use it just like this!

Also one secret tip, while streaming from your phone, you can use M1/M2s as USB transport and feed your external DAC :gs1000smile:

I've used it just like this with Mojo

Regarding @Francisk's question...

N3 has a fuller sound than M2s for sure. That's not surprising given their respective house sounds. All the Cayin DAPs except their TOTL N6 dap sound full to me. On the flip side, the only really full sounding Shanling dap is their TOTL MY dap. Different philosophies

Personally, I don't find N3 highs grainy, peaky, or harsh. I do have the sensitivity when it comes to cans, so if it's there is not in my sensitivity range.

Been following the thread on-and-off for a friend. Has the latest firmware cleared up various issues ? He would just be a Klutz to flash firmware himself so I'm going to ask the seller to do it if most minor glitchy issues have been ironed out.

the latest firmware is pretty much stable for normal use. I didn't experience any issues.

The firmware is very stable from V1.0. No worries.

With the M2s I continue to have the problem that device will not see all of my music folders. I have the folders by Artist and then within the folder I have a folder for each Album by the artist. My Cayin, Onkyo and Xduo will see all folders and sub folder but M1 and M2s seem to only see a certain amount like if they had a limit on how many folders will the scan see???
