My Mini Review of my 2nd DAP after FiiO M6:

It’s only my 2nd day with it but I listened a lot already, Moondrop Aria and Meze 99 Classic Mostly.

Sound improvement is bigger than i thought, bass is deeper and everything sounds more detailed and less digital. More space In between notes and better soundstage I’d say.

And most of all it feels more powerful by a ton and the interface is much faster than on my FiiO M6.

Kinda like the Tidal Integration already and even on Firmware 2.5 feels already quite smooth but sometimes Tidal breaks down or crashes mostly while searching and using the keyboard. Then again I mostly use it for offline music, but I will still say I wish more apps are in development. (Radio? Qobuz?)

I’m very happy with the Player overall! And I didn’t even try the Balanced port yet.

Only thing that’s weird and I can’t figure out why, at home when I plug it for charging it will turn off but at work it did just stay on. Maybe it has something to do with no music playing and the battery full? @Shanling

Being linked with M1s, Eddict Player doesn't expose itself as an Android player. As a result, it is impossible to control M1s playing back with smart watches. Is it all true? O have I missed something essential?

If it does matter, Eddict Player is installed on Huawei Mate 50.

When linked to SyncLink, it is not compatible with this.

There aren't technical reasons to avoid it, and it is simple software task. Please, add it to the next version.

Why does my player turn off when I charge it? Not that it’s a big deal at all but is there a way to disable this?

Technical reasons is one side of the problem. Capabilities and time of our software team is the other.

If you are not using it, there is no music playing, M1s will automatically turn off for optimized charging. There is no user available setting for this.

Hello,
I don't know if I'm the only one to encounter this bug: the playback doesn't start (coming out of standby or after switching on). I have to restart the M1s sometimes 2 or 3 times for it to start. I've tried with 2 different memory cards and tried a reset. This bug has been present for several firmwares (currently 2.5).
Has anyone had this problem before?

Correct me if I am wrong. This Player cannot play Files from Network (NAS)? If not will there be Firmware Update to enable this?

Are you using it with wired headphones, Bluetooth, USB DAC?

M1s can act as a DLNA renderer. By you need a separate device to act as the controller.

Noticed my M1S can play SACD-ISO, which is really nice!! But ... won't play some titles ("not supported"), even though they are identical format to other SACDs. Any idea what might cause this? It doesn't seem to matter whether hybrid or regular SACD, nor stereo/surround combo either. Not critical but would love some input. Thanks!

Edit: DSF rips play fine but as an ISO, is selective.

Most likely issue is due to the the files being in DST compression
