For everyone having problems with rar. 7zip is free and can read/extract almost every archive. Never had any issues with update files

No actually zip is built into Windows. You have to get a third party app for Rar. You assumed incorrectly.
One thing to point out to everyone is to rebuild your database.
The previous firmwares database build does not work with this firmware.
It sorts out track sorting errors of previous firmwares
@zato23 rebuild your database
True enough but I would assume most Windows users have a compressed file extraction program installed. I personally use 7Z which is free and handles pretty much every compression method I have found. At the same time given how small firmware files are I don't see the need to compress them. Why not offer them uncompressed as well for those who download to non-windows based devices.
Thanks, I have uploaded a video to show this:
Thank you, will report to engineers for some explanation.
when playing. It will wake up on single click. I'm looking for a way that I will not be able to accidentally switch tracks. Sort of like "HOLD" button in other dap. Currently there are no hold button. So when I am using the M0 and put it in my pocket I frequently change the track because the touchscreen is activated by a single click.
Oh I understand you now, unfortunately there is no hold button or lock screen in current firmware.

From now on will upload in zip.
And it's not about compression, but about including the notes and how to update guide alongside the firmware.

@Shanling you can ignore me as much as you like but i'm still going to post here.

It's a standard on all . PC,Mac, Linux. for a small file it does not make sense using rar or 7Z. Not like it demanding in space.
Plus these progs can just add more chances for dodge stuff.

What? You mean this?
@Shanling Would it be possible to use Zip extension for the firmware as it does not need a proprietary program to unpack .
Still has track order incorrect on some albums when using My music view.
Is there no chance of having the quick ABC scroll in folders view.
Can give some more info on the wrong order?
Quick scroll in folders, hopefully yes.

Responded to this in my previous post.

Oh I understand but, if you have done firmware updates previously then you may not need the update guide. The notes can be referenced afterwords online if needed or copy and pasted into notepad and saved separately. I was thinking purely about being able to download the firmware and use it without needing a separate program to uncompress it. As an example I may want to download it on a work computer but the computer does not have a decompression program installed and I may not be able to install software on that computer.
Would it make sense to offer both zipped and unzipped versions of the firmware?
Firmware updated without problems.
@Shanling after the update this effect appeared on the file / folder names (it's a kind of nuance in the final part of the name)

Two things we want to implement in future:
Phone over BT -> M0 -> external USB DAC
Computer over USB cable -> M0 -> Bluetooth headphones
Looking very much forward to the "Computer over USB cable -> M0 -> Bluetooth headphones" becoming available in the firmware. Currently there are no proper LDAC capable BT transmitters for computers/laptops, so that'd be awesome to have in M0. I'll buy M0 immediately when that feature is available

As in responding , as you are now.
There are several posts/questions I made to yourself and you did not tag a reply.
You certainly did to everyone else.
To me I see that as ignoring.
As for the wrong order. I think you need to advise everyone that the old database of music needs updating .
Soon as I updated my database the songs were in the correct order.
Thats from v2.1 to v2.2.

Thanks. But how is this different from the V2.2 that the official Shanling rep posted on here yesterday?
