Bummer. This would've turned the Mojo into a virtual Poly Mojo.

Hi @Shanling.....feature request for the M0 to be able to be usd as a transport into a dac/amp outputting audio received from Bluetooth, along with AAC Bluetooth transmission. Cheers.

Hi I'm in the same boat. I just can't justify buying that Poly for over £400! Fingers crossed for the next M0 uodate. Have you tried the FiiO BTR3?

I thought that's what the M0 already does though?! It's got a 2-Way BT transmitter. So doesn't that automatically make it capable of being a completely wireless (or semi-wireless) amp/DAC??

It can't receive and transmit at the same time.

This has been 100% confirmed? I thought some ppl said it could though in this thread?? I personally would use it connected to my headphones with a cable, but at some point I'd like to see it be completely wireless but still offer the SAME quality (sound and reception-wise) as a fully wired setup.

I need an mp3 player. Will Shanling M0 do the job? Or are there better? I have 100$ to spend. Is the sound on this amazing?
Don't think you can do better for $100. Well balanced sounding little dac. Even if you find something better some day this will still be a great 2nd dac for ultra portability.

Ok I'm 90 percent convinced. What do you think about Cayin N3 and Fiio X1?

Also, does the battery slowly get smaller in capacity on the Shanling M0?

You’re getting a touch screen on the M0 (although it’s small and takes a bit to get used tiki) and I think it sounds better imo than both the N3 and X1- N3 sounds good but I like the more neutral sound of the M0 better.

This is based on iem use, both the N3 and X1 have more output power. Oh and the M0 has a very clean output- good for sensitive iems.

I’m with barondia, I don’t think you can beat the M0 for portability and price, and with the next firmware it should be even better. I mean for a hundred bucks it’s a no brainer, I think it’s the smallest dap you can get with LDAC support.

Ok, no idea what LDAC is but I'm ready to buy this one now. Going to buy it in blue color. :) Will receive it hopefully next month.

Good luck! I tried to order via AliExpress for the blue version, it never turned up and the company played silly buggers with parcels not even leaving China and being returned to them from customs. I gave up and ordered the boring black version via Amazon. At least that turns up (rather fed up with flaky Chinese sellers tbh, have several eBay disputes for non-arriving parcels via UK-proxy Chinese sellers. As much as I hate Amazon and their tax avoidance and union-busting at least their parcels actually arrive).

Reminds me, must check I actually got a refund for that...grr.

Well I guess I'm lucky that I can get someone to buy from Amazon for me. They're pretty good with their services. Hopefully nothing goes wrong! :)

@abitdeef, yeah I know it has so many cool features which will be nice to get into later on, but I just need an mp3 player for now that won't bother me later on. The sound quality is a bonus, wondering how great it'd be.

I also have the boring black, my purple one was DOA so black was all that was left, still love it though. ;)
