Lucky you, they didn't even respond to my repeated requests, so I gave up on the whole thing and sold my pair.

Received my replacements today. I reported my wireless problems all the way back in March. The replacements they sent are rev 1 made November 2014. Now I have to start this all over again :-/

The black version of the wireless around ears are now in stock at a few Norwegian online stores. But I guess the stock is still limited now in the beginning since it seems like it's going fast out of stock again.

My headphones were sent from Netonnet today. They're out of stock everywhere in Sweden now. Hopefully I'll get the rev2s. It's funny because I asked the customer service and they said the "new ones" would come in january 2016 but I assumed that she was clueless.

Got mine today, bought it from Cyberport in Germany online. It is definitely labeled as rev.02! No dropouts so far. Going to test in in the crowd tomorrow. Talked to Sennheiser yesterday. Wanted to get sure, that one I ordered, is rev.02. They confirmed, that a small number of the rev.2 models is sent to some distributors. Cyberport got these on Oct, 1st. Sorry for my English, school is over for over 30 years.

Managed to get a rev 02 while my rev 01 will go for RMA. Didn't experience any dropouts so far, deliberately went to a few spots outside that consistently had dropouts before, e.g. tram lines.

I don't think that was a problem before and it doesn't seem anything has changed in that regard.
