Thank you. Are these better because I know the Senn ie900 tips are made specifically for ie900?

Hold on. Is it true ie300 ie600 ie900 ship with same silicon tips? The spare parts website shows they are the same.

From what I know the ie900 come with the same silicon tips as the ie600 and ie200.
The ones I sent you are better because they are made of stiffer silicon so they isolate better. I used them with all new ie series and they worked better than the stock ones.

That sucks. Tried contacting Sennheiser support directly? SpinFit CP155 or Final E tips could work as good backups.
i thought spinfit cp100 plus is preferred from reading this threads earlier posts. Just ordered as back up.

Also thinking about the

Sennheiser Silicone Eartips for IE 40 PRO (Medium, 5 Pairs).

As suggested above if available in uk. Dam not available in uk.

On another subject what is a great BT DAC for ie900?
IFI GOBLU or BTR 7 or other?

This video suggests BTR7 instead of IFI GO BLU, but most other reviews show IFIGO BLU as better BT DAC.

Hey Takeda,

Many many thanks. Just ordered them. Nice one.

Ordered 3 pairs of silicon medium.

——————

I am quite sure my ie900 are fake as every fake tell is on mine based on this article:
https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/190lja0/ie900_fake_vs_genuine_in_detail_comparison/

So returning to retailer. Gutted.

The serial number card dates 1 April 2024 has not even been signed or written in..

An earlier post suggests fake don't have ie900 carved in however i seen web Sennheiser photos with black text like mine. So who is right. See my photo with black IE900 text not carved in.

My serial number is:
007207

Is this indication of version or manufacturer iteration. I hope I don’t have older iteration.

IE900 writing seems printed, if that is the case then they are indeed fake.
Plenty of discussion on fake-ness in earlier threads: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/sen...man-target-talk.957709/page-360#post-18551892

Please be mindful that this picture is inaccurate, it is exactly the opposite. It is black that it is fake..

So i actually had a fake ie900 which was a Customer return.

Finally got the genuine ie900 yesterday and listened for first time.

Sounds amazing.

So far medium silicone tips fit well although still a bit large.

Might try other tips.

CP145 or another or Linosul? See photo.

And how was the difference in Sound Quality?
I purchased from Richer Sounds.

The sound difference is gigantic. Fake ones sounded horrible.
I thought initially maybe something wrong with the cable to driver connection and something i am doing wrong.
You don’t need to be headphones enthusiast to know they sound like garbage. Like broken ripped speakers but also treble tweeter damaged.

The fake ones base distort non stop and treble all compressed.
Basically my Airpod Pro sounded miles miles better.

After 3 hours of listening i called up RS and asked for return refund.
I realised they were fake after i called from checking the thread.
They were totally fake.
I called Sennhieser and they confirmed from asking lots of questions that they are likely fake. I sent them photos.
2 days later RS Retailer that also was investigating with Sennheiser confirmed they were fake returned from a previous customer. Open box.

Anyone tried ifi go blu with ie900?
