Hi, I finally got my Poly working with Glider. Poly from SD sounds really better than everything I had before on my Fiio FD7 beryllium single DD IEMs. Much more room information, things I never heard before. Most of my files are ripped CDs but they sound better than High Res from iPad over USB. So now I need to get high res downloads.

Does anyone know is there a way to determine production date based on serial number or other numbers provided on the packaging?

The letter inside with the signature has a date on it.

oh sorry guess wrong thread I bought IE300 and there's no letter inside just a serial number on the box
curious if I got newer batch as I've read even in this thread about IE300 having quality issues
edit: Just thought IE900 date paper might be corelated with serial number so by any chance maybe that would indicate mfg time of other senn products? I mean what each serial number stands for.

Any update on this? Curious to hear your impressions.Good morning all,
I have been kindly asked by Konstantin at Lavricables to review their new v3 awg24 Ultimate line cable for Sennheiser IE 900. I have gratefully accepted, and wanted to ask if the IE 900 community had any questions/aspects for me to consider whilst I conduct my review.
Feel free to DM rather than posting here if easier.
Thanks E

Anyone interested in selling their ie900, hit me up
Hey, the cable was shipped last week. I’ve been away so expect to get it in my hands on Monday.Any update on this? Curious to hear your impressions.
Will reasonably take 5-7 days to listen and AB with stock cable, but happy to post some initial impressions if you’re interested?

I’ll look forward to your comparison, but I missed your op. Can you please reference which cable you’re speaking of? Tia…
Late reply but I share the same feeling. The chord mojo 2 is sublime with the IE 900 - the equaliser feature is a gem changer imo.
I start using the IE 900 with the Mojo 2 (I didn't feel the need to EQ) and no I use them with a WM1A.
They sound way bigger and fuller with the Mojo 2 (but a little less technical compared to the balanced output of the Sony).
Hi All,
For everyone that was asking, I now have the latest v3 awg24 Ultimate line cable for ie900. It is installed with their carbon Y splitter and matching 3.5mm plug. Lavricables also provide a burn in service (which the y comment improves the SQ. This cable has been burned in for about 150h.
Some initial observations whilst ABing with stock cable:
- tighter control but extension of sub bass.
- soundstage seems airier, with instruments pushed back further.
- vocals don’t seem to be effected.
- detail retrieval is marginally better but noticeable.
Will be testing over the next week or so and will post a review accordingly.
Happy listening!
