Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

Hardly anyone hears 18 kHz! Many people don't hear anything at 14 or 15 kHz!
In music, nothing happens at these high frequencies either. 20Khz is theoretically audible - but unrealistic. 48kHz are interesting for bats.
I'd imagine even if you were able to hear these frequencies they'd easily get swamped in a mix.

I used to be able to hear bats but only if there was no background noise.

Just got my IE 900, and I’d have to agree with @gLer that this is indeed TOTL stuff from Sennheiser! Oh dat bass!! Yummy and delicious! Regarding the fit, luckily I still have some Symbio Ws, and it turns out to be a perfect fit with great seal, and most importantly, no sibilance 😊

I've had mine for a few weeks, and awesome base aside, detail retrieval is the best I've heard, better than the Shure KSE1500's even.

And fourte really good. I am glad to hear the IE 900 is better for you at a much lower cost.
This pattern of selling the older gear is the norm.

Everyone says awesome bass and shiny treble. What about vocals? I've ready reviews saying these are stunning for vocals, and others say they are recessed. Is this due to people using different insertion lengths and tips? Sometimes I hear them say the FR balanced with no dips or peaks (probably an older fellow who can't hear lol) and then some say V shaped. Hell, one of my favorite popular youtube reviewers said they were dark. You know who you are. XD

Fourte's pretty weird, among 64audio iems i've had/tried (Trio, Nio, U12t, A18s demo) it was my least favorite one :D
So yeah, i would also take IE900 over it for sure.
At the same time, after initial excitement has worn off, i've realized that IE900 is also not for me, even if it's the best single DD i've tried.

IE900 is not about mids. Check Crinacle's first impressions, or Precog's review, i think they are spot on.
I much, much prefer M4 for everything vocal- or guitar- based. In comparison, with IE900 vocals were sometimes coming from behind the scene, outshined by the instruments.

Who has the possibility of one or both

Try EQ settings and then write to sound ?

Hi all,

I currently own and enjoy a pair of the FiiO FH7 - but reading about the IE 900 I am getting that all too familiar feeling of FOMO and now I can't stop thinking about getting these.

Any thoughts or comparisons between the two?
