Am I the only one with bass set to max? Loving it, even at that level I don't get too much bleeding and it still feels fairly precise. I'm damaged from way too much clubbing tho.

I listen to them with bass set to max. We are the true bassheads. :)

in amazon.de this cost 200€. Do you think at this price they may be fake?

They are not fake and you get them exceptionally quickly. I ordered two sets this way. Both arrived in 2 days.

Lol how do y'all stand that bass without having a splitting headache. I tried the tape mod and surprisingly it sounds a lot better. It tames the bass for me, so I can turn the volume up before I couldn't because the bass was just overpowering. I hate how Ghetto it looks having tape on $400 IEMs though... It's like wearing glasses with tape on the bridge.

I think if the bass is overpowering for you, then you are a lucky one that gets a perfect seal with these. For me the bass is a bit pronounced, but never too much even @ the highest setting.

Add some tattoos to the tape then it's perfect. :)

lol just use a very small piece of clear tape so its not so noticeable . Doesn't have to be a large piece either just enough to cover the bass screw knob (black part).

They also give me a tight seal when I put them in all the way. I tend to loose it just slightly to improve the sound stage.

Hey lee730,

Regarding your 'taping-the-adjustment-hole' mod: what bass knob setting do you recommend with it?

(Asking you is easier than searching through 3 thousand posts....lol)

Because we're bassheads! Seriously though, compared to good speakers with subwoofers this is basically the only thing that comes close.

lol devil FX700 has IE80 licked in that department. If you really want slamming subwoofer like bass look into the FX700. V-shaped though but when it comes to deep bass in quantity and quality they are it. For pure quality EX1000 and MDR-7550 (the 7550s have more quantity than EX1000).

This is actually likely to be my next headphone purchase.
