That's a nice set up!

I too had just received my HD800S. Out of the box they performed ok, after a day of burning in i felt it's just starting to open up. Just curious, what are everyones HD800S EQ settings?

Flat (no EQ) for me. I've never really been much into using EQ, but even if I was I don't think I'd change anything with the HD800S' tonal balance. It pretty much hits the mark perfectly for me.

Hi, anyone tried to drive hd800s using chord mojo?
If so how was the sound quality?
Is chord mojo really enough to drive senn hd800s?

Pls support me . Thx

I use this as my bedside rig fairly often. It sounds quite good although a bit lean on the mids compared to my desktop set up. Quite listenable however.

Because I like even a little bit more bass and mids, I boost 63 Hz up a bit as well as about 1000 Hz. It sounds wonderful to me.

IMO sounds lean directly out of the mojo, is not about volume level which is plenty. I use the MOJO + Valhalla 2 and like it very much. I believe the hd800 s needs more power to bring up the dynamics than just the mojo.

Yes it seems good ... But any one know about good amp can use with mojo and provide port to connect hd800s balance cable?
Thx

About any amp with balanced 4-pin XLR out? That seems quite unrelated to the Mojo as a DAC if you ask me...
My Auralic Vega is away for service (it's about damn time I get it back btw, has been 7 weeks now :frowning2: ), so for desktop listening, I feed my Mojo into my Taurus Mk II now... works well :)

Hi
Any one has experience about senn HD800S with moon audio silver dragon v3 or black dragon v2 cables?
If so how about sound quality?
Which cable ( black dragon or silver dragon) provide better sound quality?

Thx for your support.

Nice how do you like the mk2? Im looking at it as well.

Hi Whazzzup.
I have been using the mk2 for over 3 months now. It is just an incredibly transparent sounding amp. It very much reflects the sound signature of your source materials truly and honestly.
HD800S together with the GSX MK2 is quite possibly the best combo for Classical musics I have ever heard thus far. It does have some flaws in which it is very picky of recordings.
