Thanks for feedback..
Iam from southern east asia.. So too far from usa.
I already call to sennhiser and they confirm that my dealer is authoriezed.
Also my dealar told me item come with original seal pack. And they offer it to me 300usd less than standred price.but they told me quality 100% same normal vs demo version. Is that true?
That is difficult to say. It really depends on how often they've been used and how they were used. If they look clean and new and sound good, it's probably ok to buy them.

these cans have costed me a fortune in I tunes downloads:blink:

That was happening to me so I signed up for Apple Music . The way I see it is that I will always listen to music and buy at least 2 albums a month (based on the last 20 +years ) so it's worth an ongoing subscription and not owning the music for me . Now I am overwhelmed with what to listen to !

thanks and yes i thought of it. Streaming seems like the logical thing to do as opposed to collecting blue rays(net flix) , cd, and now mp3. But I find the quality coming from my iMac usb at 384 fr 32 bit 320 better than what i have heard streamed. Plus i guess it feeds my ocd a bit to build the library. plus i have a million free apple tv radio channels if i need it.
my statement was that my system sounds great and its difficult to not get turned on and purchase more tunes. Im hoping discipline will kick in, i mean 80 plus  gigs is enough? no? ( i say pathetically)

No offence, but I suspect you don't quite get what a demo unit is. It is a HD800 S like any other, built to the same standards. If the dealer had left the box closed and sold it straight to you, that very headphone would have been brand new. However, your dealer opened it up to listen to it, or to let clients listen to it in his shop before deciding on their headphone buy. So in fact, you are buying a used pair - hence the discount. If it's carefully used for one day, this might be a hell of a deal. If it has been used, stretched, dropped, cord yanked,... for months, I suspect that would show on the headphones...
So it's not a purpose built unit off factory, like a pre-production model. The only reason for it being a demo unit, is the decision of your dealer to open up that specific box to start using those headphones for demo purposes...

I think that possibly you don't understand what Jason said, no offense. You might read what he posted again. It's not contrary to what you said. Come on, the guy is a dealer and you're telling him he doesn't know the definition of a demo is...really?

Thanks for sticking up for me but after a glance and realizing I have $4 million of demo products on my display floor, let's let this person believe his own nonsense.

I believe he meant to quote sharon124 instead of TSAVJason, as it would really only make sense in that context.

Hi my friends, thank you so much for you all who repiled to me and provide me sujjestions first..

I already contact senn HQ ( Germany) and they replied me like that

"Some demonstration products are simply meant for demonstration (eg: for a re-seller to get familiar with the product or for a customer to try a product) and not for resale and hence would need to be returned to Sennheiser and so these models may or may not be in original factrory packaging.

If a re-seller ordered a model with the intention to provide a demonstration to a customer with the intention to then sell that product to the customer then likely that unit would be a brand new factory sealed model."

So i belive my dealer... And it will be brand new...

Thanks again for every one who support me...
