Think I'm going to go with the hd650. I have a modi/magni now, and will probably add a tube to this setup sometime fall 2016...

A lot of people enjoy the Bottlehead Crack with the HD650s, that's probably the way I'm gonna go.

Agree, the BH Crack with the HD-650 is about as good as it gets to me.

And if you want to play with a range of cans the BH S.E.X goes one further. Excellent amp with big power. For a dedicated 650 amp the Crack is the go-to, with many ways you can make it sing.

Listening to Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited - Desolation Row in DSD. Very nice with the BHA-1 and the 650. The SE output on this thing is okay, but the balanced out just kills the SE. Can't wait for the balanced 650 cables to arrive.....
 
Not to bring up a taboo topic, but for SE, the S.E.X. smokes the BHA-1.....
