  Warehouse Deals. Which says used but it usually is new in box. Comes with the two year warranty anyways. When sennheiser repaired my 558 for cracks, they gave me a whole complete new one.

Thanks for the info but I don't get it how are you so excited about the price ? its cheap but its USED !!! and maybe refurbished.. for such an expensive headphones buying refurbished/used is a risk especially if you don't live in the US, don't forget that those headphones are on the market for 10 years, you will never know what revision they are and how long were they used, also amazon can simply replace the cage and pads and they will look new but the driver is a hole different story. 
 
for 400$ meaning 75$ extra you get a brand new Headphones with a lot less to worry about.

First of all its not just an open box:

Item may come repackaged. Minor cosmetic imperfection on front of item (less than 1/4"x1/4"). Minor cosmetic imperfection on top or sides of item (less than 1/4"x1/4"). Some cosmetic imperfection on bottom or back of item (less than 1"x1")

If there is cosmetic imperfection it had been used and I don't care about amazon 500$ price since there is Accessory Jack which ships to the USA or anywhere in world for free with the cost 400$ so again its back to 75$ difference from a used one and a new one. 
 
and if I am wrong about the condition of the product in amazon its still 75$ difference which is not that much for the buyer to be re assured to get a brand new HP.
But that's just me.. dunno.

I have bought my HD650 two weeks ago. I'm currently running them on my Creative SoundBlaster Z sound card (DAC) and Schiit Magni amp. I have an option to buy a much better amp Canor TP10 (http://www.canor-audio.com/?page_id=77) for good money. 
My question is. Is it worth upgrading? Will I hear noticeable difference in the HD650's sound with a 650 EURO amp in comparison to a 100 EURO amp?

Haven't heard any of those amps, but it usually scales well with nicer amps!

Well maybe your right.. it is a good deal, but still there is something about it when you know your headphones are brand new

Canor Output power 400mW/30 Ohms, 70mW/300 Ohms doesn't that look a little low for the HD650's?
 
While its got a very nice case 650 euro seems like a lot of money for the componentry inside. No idea what it sounds like but to buy the same *premium parts* the  film caps and alps blue velvet Potentiometer say for a BHCrack you would be looking at about US $17 if brought off of ebay!

Never heard either of the amps but be aware that HD650 are very picky with what gear you are pairing them so trying it the only way to find out

I haven't heard it either (the guy I can buy it from had HD650 paired with it and sings praises about it) but it's got excellent reviews: http://www.canor-audio.com/?p=1491&pid=342 and http://www.hifitest.de/test/zubehoer_hifi/canor-tp10_2285# or http://www.tupperwav.com/tests/amplificateurs-nomade/test-canor-tp10-lampli-royal. It's supposedly one the best headphone amps under 1,000 EURO. But I'm a newbie in these things, so I don't know.

I'm really close to buying these off of Amazon warehouse for 287$.  I'm trying to resist because I already have the X1 and DT 770/80.  Will my modest E17/E09k combo let the HD650 shine over the DT 770/80?  Must Resist....

I use the X1 with a portable amp(C&C BH2) more than the DT770, which have increased my listening pleasure with the desktop setup.  My skepticism about the power/SQ a desktop amp could provide was all washed away upon first listen.
