  Any recommendations for a 4-pin XLR balanced cable for the HD650?

​Sennheiser CH650S of course, but I've no experience with it.

Dyson audio eBay. I ordered a 9-foot balanced XLR cable for my hd650 for $63 top quality very high end, as good as it gets highly recommended. Their custom made to order any length you want.

Was that the Gotham Starquad cable you ordered? I see they do a Cardas cable too.

Yeah I got the Gotham cable very good high quality he put some type of wrap around it some extra sleeve.

He give you any fitting any length you want very quick turnaround time I can't recommend him anymore he's just amazing guy very good quality for a very good price.

Checking in (again) with my 3rd HD650. Last one I bought I was not happy with.. It seemed to have aggressive treble that stuck out like a sore thumb against the warm bottom and rolled off top end. These ones are more like my first ones I owned - smooth and balanced (apart from the obvious mid bass hump). Damn these sound sooo good. Got them second hand and they are quite old but in fab condition.
 
I will not be selling these ones!! Mark my words!

Thanks. I was looking at this one. Do you use it with yours? I was concerned that it might be too small based on looks. I know they say it fits ....

I have one and it fits the HD650 perfectly with enough room to include the cable. I have traveled with it, no problems. FYI, socks in photo do not come with case.

I have the same case & it fits well. The only downside is that the zips are a bit weak. One of mine broke after about one year.

Is there anything lusher and smoother than the HD 650s? I have heard the LCD 2.2 and I did not like them . They were a bit more aggressive sounding than the 650s if my memory serves me correctly. I am looking at Audioquest Nighthawks. Has anyone tried them ?
