Hey, guys. I am thinking about getting my first set of "decent" (using the term loosely here.) cans and I was wondering if you guys here could perhaps recommend a nice set within the $85-100 range. currently I'm thinking about the Sennheiser HD555's and the Grado SR80i's. I listen to a wide range of music; mostly hip-hop/rap, rock, dubstep and sometimes classical. I will be using a Zune HD as my source. (probably without an external amp but I'll get a fiio e5 if it's really important.)

Grado's any day of the week. The E5 would be great, but a PA2V2 would be even better. Whatever you pick you'll be in love. Be sure to get a LOD too, makes a huge difference.

SR80i over HD555 by a solid margin

The HD555 is a far more versatile headphone and would suit more ranges of genres better.

Id go SR80 over HD555 like everyone else but the MS-1 might be a bit better (or the DT440 if you can find it for around $100.)  No need to get Fiio E5. Its not going to do anything but increase the volume which you probably will not need. Its not going to improve sound quality.
