I guess it depends on exactly what the word ‘blend’ means in this case. It’s going to be a transition of course, but I wonder what the original actually meant? It could mean two layers blended together, or it could mean one layer, but then why use the word blend?On the Sennheiser Hearing homepage, they talk about a polymer blend membrane in the HD560S driver. No more two layers of different material. On layer formed out of a new created blend.
Maybe we could get a NDH-30 for cheap with the HD560S....
One thing I’m pretty certain of though is that the HD560S will not sound like the NDH 30, any more than the HD660S sounded like the HD700.
In the end though nothing matters except the final result of course, interesting though the details are.
