Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread

  I've also been using HD580 housing with both HD600 and 650 drivers and the difference in sound is quite subtle.

Doesn't surprise the housing changes things going by my experience with swapping housings between the HD 545 and HD 600. Listening to the HD 650 drivers in the HD 600 make me realize why many may love the HD 600 so much. They sound spacious, very clear, and extremely natural. Maybe my HD 600 drivers are just substandard.

Do you like the sound of HD650 drivers more in HD600 housing or in their own?

  Just demoed these at my local audio shop... Now i'm tempted to spend even more money... this hobby is way too expensive. 

 
I know this guy who`s had an awful cocaine habit for the last 20 years.

The obvious answer is to do both.

I'd stick with one. Saves money. And Id guess the audio one is better for your health. :p

 
Unless you get squashed crossing the road listening to your hipster Urbanite's at full-blast. That might be natural selection though
