well that's sucks

i really want an external soundcard and creative soundcard is not availaible in my country

now i am confuse how to upgrade my audio experiance

if gsx 1000 is not that good

If you want to git gud, get one of those headphones with excellent imaging like the AD series.
If you want a more immersive experience in certain games the GSX 1000 will do just that, wouldn't have gotten through Hellblade without it.

Yeah, I found using a mojo to be far superior tbh. Good 2ch is great for imaging/separation/soundstage and the mojo combined with 712's (acclaimed for gaming) is really good for FPS. Tried a few 5.1 setups but always back to good 2ch. Highly recommend the 712's also. Ditched high end sennys for them, be surprised if you could best them for FPS.

a little OOT

i have akg k702 and you said k712 is for gaming what is the best for gaming (i really don't care about SQ) akg k702 or k712 ??? i really need stepping whoring setup ( soundstage) what the best possible setup i can get under 600usd ??

and mojo is that really good there is sale in my country for 500 usd (usually mojo priced at 700usd) will mojo be far better option in soundstage better than my currently audio setup (chinnese dac/amp fx audio x6 or z270 maximus ix hero onboard) or the gsx 1000 vs mojo ??

Soundstage is the opposite of stepping whoring.
Imaging if what you're after and typically people say the AD-2000X is the king for that.

GSX 1000 is probably the best HRTF surround gaming and 5.1/7.1 movies playback DAC ever made. Movies and games sound amazing with on my HE-400i, isine 10 with Magni 3 as amp. Its a home theatre experience in your ear! Stereo music sound good, but just not great especially you don't have EQ controls and forced to use it with just presets.

I ordered sound blaster Omni 5.1, E5, X7, and the GSX 1200 from Amazon?
Kept the last one. Sound great in game (PUBG, Battlefront, CSGO, etc.) for positional and surround 7.1. (got a Sennheiser HD598).
GSX 1000/1200 is also my best surround experience. and I also add a Magni 3. Not mandatory but that's a blast when i turn the knob.
But all in all it is expensive.

I have a good onboard soundcard (Asus ROG Hero IX's one) with a popsitional software (Radar). I prefer to use GSX.

My 2 cp.

Gsx in csgo isn't that great tbh. That's with akg 712.

The frequency response graph of AKG 712 found here: http://reference-audio-analyzer.pro/en/report/hp/akg-k-712.php
suggest a dip in the 2k-5k range, which is the crucial HRTF boost range for creating the virtual surround sound. It's probably not the headphone you want for HRTF.

This also goes for anyone considering the GSX-1000. Make sure you check your headphone's frequency response graph and make sure the 2k-5k range does not dip. Ideally you would want to get a planar as they tend to have exaggerated 2k-5k range for extra surround channel seperation as found in this graph :here: https://fthmb.tqn.com/ybZFCSfbpy78X...pscale()/comparo-56a9010b5f9b58b7d0f734d9.jpg
And it looks like the HE-560 is the holy grail for HRTF.

Just got the GSX 1000 for $160 from a holiday deal -- plan on using it with the PC37X tonight in Destiny 2. Can't wait!
