I just got my SE530 recabled by Whiplash Audio. Craig, the guy at whiplash gave me a real treat! He used his famous Elite TWAG silver wire. The same excellent wire that he makes for JH Audio 13 and 16 pros, UE 10/11, ESX and etc. This is as good as it gets.
The wire is "made from the newly advanced TWag CFDCT-UP-OCC high stranded silver wire. Terminated with the amazing sounding Viablue 3.5mm connector. The TWag is specially cryogenically treat by CryoParts using the exclusive "CryoFreeze" process.
For termination, he used Oyaide silver rhodium connector, some hi end stuff!!!
I live in London and it's $200 including shipping.
The first impression I have is that my SE 530 still retains that sweet midrange. There is less roll off on the highs. The high frequencies also has this sweet "golden glow" on them. It's faster, and everything is more in focus.
