I will serve you fine whiskey from Oregon, too. Makes things sound MUCH better...
Hopefully, it's some Bullrun American Single Malt because that stuff is 😽

Even a glass of water or an espresso is good enough, Gemeinsam and chat are the most important part. :L3000:

I'm a supporter of all that is California, including the warts and scars.
It took me 50+ years to get here, and I ain't leavin' any time soon... although southwestern Oregon is looking pretty amazing. <G>

Remember how I said I was cranky because I hadn't listened to music in 4 days?
Well, that "holiday" has been extended because the NUC I had Roon Core running on seems to have died. (also, it's my DHCP and DNS server so entire network was kaput).

Days like this, as a software engineer, I agree with Jason, no software is the best software....
Sounds like an advertisement for vinyl.😉

Nah, I was offering Oregon Spirit Straight American Bourbon Whiskey, but I could track down some Bullrun if you favor it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Actually this evening I am (potentially over-)enjoying one of six 750s of Buffalo Trace that I bought at the local boutique grocery for $19 a bottle.
When I went back the next day, it was re-priced at $29, on sale. Clearly someone misread the price sheet. My gain is their loss...

Nah, no BBQ in CA. Least, none worth talking about.

The world revolves around BBQ and has since the first hominid discovered how well fire and a gazelle went together.

Monkeys do like fermented fruit juice... maybe I have the precedence flipped?
Years ago my boss took me to a hole-in-the-wall in Carson, run by two sweet African American ladies. I'm no expert, but I remember those ribs being mighty fine. 😁

I need everyone to tell their favorite BBQ food truck to go sign up for Allentown's Mayfair. It's the only chance I get to really see which is better, NC or TX (where's KS in this fight?)
KS ain't even innit. KC BBQ refers to BBQ from Kansas City, Missouri. Period. I sit back and watch this NC vs TX banter with smug, knowing, satisfaction. It's great sport, watching these proponents of lesser BBQ fight it out.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Maybe not a mistake but a sales technique. I have a friend in the furniture business. A prior company he worked for had 4 sales events every year. Massive radio ads, some TV, stating they were closing for 1 day to prepare for the unbelievable, upcoming sale. What happened was the store closed for a day so every furniture item could be retagged with an increased 'regular' price and the 'sale' price. Over 80% of the store was at a higher 'sale' price than before the sales event. Furniture flew out of the store, after all, it was on sale.
