Tonight I decided to set up Qobuz on the music PC connected to the Gumby in my 2 ch system.

Poured a 1792 bourbon and putting on Stan Getz. This is a great way to break in the new to me Gumby...

We are watching Texas Hold ‘em poker but he is more of a chess enthusiast so he has been falling asleep. We had company today in my shop so naturally he was a perfect host, women love him. He meets them in my driveway, escorts them inside, then steals my chair and gets all the attention. I switched to another show and we heard these lyrics:
“ When my body won't hold me anymore
And it finally lets me free
Will I be ready?
When my feet won't walk another mile
And my lips give their last kiss goodbye
Will my hands be steady when I lay down my fears, my hopes, and my doubts?
The rings on my fingers, and the keys to my house
With no hard feelings”

Now I am playing the entire song as he jumps into the sweet spot and I sit nearby.

Such is music.

I've been building "hi-fi" setups since ~1972. I have spent a LOT of my hard-earned $$$ on gear, and I've owned, enjoyed and sold some fine kit over the decades.

I can honestly say that next to my upgrade to the B&W loudspeakers, adding the pair 'o Tyr has been the 2nd best audio investment I've ever made.

I can listen to this setup for hours, and often do... well into the night, to the detriment of my work performance the next morning. HA! Who cares?!?
