Just out of curiousity, anyone here currently or previously owned a pair of K 242 HDs? Seems like lately I am the only one. I know that cant be true. Same thing for actual reviews. There are 4 reviews on amazon but thats really all I could find. The few reviews I have seen have all been basically positive. I took a chance and ordered them a few weeks ago without actually auditioning them.

You reminded me another question, haha.  So are the 242HD the exact same as the K240 mkii, except for nonremovable cable?  Same for the rest of the HD series vs their (potentially?) studio counterparts.
