Rockbox Xduoo X3

I'm pretty sure it only took about 2 mins for me.  Hope it goes well for you though.

 
I tried formatting my 128gb card to FAT32 and it worked! Luckily, I didn't brick my unit. Thanks though

Hi everyone, i am new in this forum, i have a problem with the rockbox installing, i follow all instructions but i don't know why the system is blocked, the windows offers this message:
 
xduoo x3 rockbox boot
version d312ba8m-1603
mounting disk...
loading firmware...
error: file not found
 
i don't know how restored the system, always i have problems to install rockbox, with my ibasso x90 too, at last i can't do it so i have the original system, but in this ibasso i can doing a hard reset and restore the system, in the xduoo nothing, i press the reset but the same, please someone can help me. My english is very bad, i am from Spain. Many thanks, regards

Have you copied the hidden rockbox folder to your ssd card?

in a micro sd 32 gigas in fat32, i had one from my sans clip rockboxed, now understand i forget install the system update, i don't know the process, the same oit happened to me with my ibasso x90, at last could install it but the very unstable, so had to uninstalling it, after of many problems, with the Xduoo at last i back to stock firmware, i have bored in spite of his bad software. the micro sd is in fat32 with the music folders that i had to my sansa...

If you just copied those two zip files to the SD card, then you are doing it wrong, I will try to explain in simple terms:
 
1. Extract the contents of the zip file "rockbox-full-df6898b-160821.zip", it will create the folder .rockbox, copy this folder to your SD card
 
2. Rename the file "update-to-rockbox-d312ba8M-160316.zip" to "update.zip" and copy this file to your SD card
 
(if your computer OS hides file extensions, then your file may actually be called "update.zip.zip", you should check that the filename does not have .zip twice)
 
3. Place the SD card in slot 1, you can now perform the upgrade, power on the X3 then go to menu Settings -> Upgrade
