I've got one with RB and one with stock.  Can't hear any difference between the two.  Granted, my old ears aren't what they used to be but is there is any change it's very minimal. IMO.

 
Should still be nice right? Now you can do a lot more stuff with DX50 and not to worry about SQ.

Tested this morning and it works when using the file system.
Building database seems locked:  Building database... 4568 found OFF to return never end (or it is very very long?)

After adding database dir to external sd + removing internal scanning ends. Told me to reboot.
Now database is ok but playback crashing with:
*PANIC*
Srtkov audio
pc:0068554 sp ...

Definitely! It still sounds fantastic and I'm having fun with all the different options.  There is a bit of a learning curve with the UI but I think I've got most of it worked out.

I'll wait for the backlight issue to be resolved before committing to this. I enjoy this on my clip zip. Can't wait to try the playlists on here as the regular FW handling of playlists is unsatisfactory for me.

Thanks this is now working! The only drawback is the database update that need reboot each time.

Also I will wait to see if the fix is in place in case I were to accidentally brick the DX50.

Am I the only one having trouble changing between Mango and Rockbox by pressing volume down & power button? Maybe I'm getting old, but it hardly works for me, Am I doing something wrong?
