Did you know the V800 can also function as a killer USB to SPDIF converter? Not sure when most people would end up using that, but I'm a weirdo and have done so multiple times in the past few weeks. Output is done post-ASRC so it is totally reclocked and stripped of jitter; down to something like 20ps or so. You can even use the upsampling selector to choose the sample rate of the output - native, 48kHz, 96kHz, or 192kHz. Cool!
You can even do it the other way, converting SPDIF to USB output. I haven't tried that yet but it is a novel feature.
