Oh well, at least i got it much cheaper than what people sell it for in my country . Close to $380.
Helo guys,
I recently bought im02 and i'm really happy with my purchase. I pair it with a17 and i can detect a small hiss. Does a17 bring out the full sq of im02? I'm planning on getting dx80 or hm650. Does this investment really worth it on my current setup?
Personally I would not upgrade my player until I have at least $300+ IEMs as upgrading players only yield minor improvements.
But IF you insist on upgrading , the xduoo x3 is worth considering as rockbox port is making fast progress.
Thank you for your replies. Really appreciate it. Can lp5k be used as usb dac? Sorry for my noob question, what is rockbox?Besides the two you have mentioned, you can consider the Lotoo Paw 5000. Really liked the sound with my own IM02 (no hissing with well-recorded music is a plus) and in my opinion, it's worth it.

What tips do you guys suggest for the IM50?

Aside from playing with the tips, you can punch a small hole with a needle on the vents. Warn you that you have to do it very carefully because you have a risk to damage the drivers.
JVC spiral dots work pretty well with all IEMs of the IM series. KZ whirlwind tips are worth a try too.
Basically anything with wide bore will work.
