Gd-audiobase sends an e-mail with dispatching information including tracking numbers, sometimes a day or two later, but they normally send it.

GD Audiobase says estimated arrival of the FA-011 is 08.04.2011.  I hope he means April and not August...

Hi all, first post here.  I just ordered these as my first "audiophile" headphones.  I really wanted to try the MS1i's, as I do listen to a lot of rock/metal, but these seem better in every regard according to the review (although I don't care for the styling at all.)  I'll be driving these off of my PC (Auzentech Prelude.)  Now...the waiting game!  :D

All FA-011 ordered last week will be shipped at the end of this week.

FA-011 ordered on this week will be shipped around 08 April.

Also, USA have abolished restriction for parcels over 500 grams, so it is not necessary anymore to exclude cable extention and 6,3/3,5 adapter from the box or pay extra fees for shipping.

That is good news Marine. Thanks for the update.

Does it matter when you pay? I put in my order on the Friday the 25th, but I haven't sent payment yet. Am I grouped in with the people for this week?

These look remarkably similiar to the Turtle Beach HPX headset.  A lot of the parts look the same.

it would be cool if fa-011 have a detachable mic for gaming ^_^

The Zalman ZM-Mic1 has worked fine for me. I have only tested it on my PS3. Haven't been online with the xbox yet. I wish there was a way I could set up a wireless mic to work with both consoles, but unplugging it from one and into the other isn't the end of the world. I assume you plug it into the xbox controller, but I haven't tried it yet so I am not 100% sure.

Possibly Fischer licenses the design out to OEMs for other products, which is common in the world of electronics.  Or, Fischer *is* one of the companies re-branding another companies' reference design.  Either way if it results in great sound and quality at these kinds of prices they can go ahead and keep doing it as far as I'm concerned.  All that matters is the sound and the value at the end of the day, but this is still an interesting discovery nevertheless.
