Looks nice but its a $2000 IEM cable
Its the sound.Looks nice but its a $2000 IEM cable
X5III, PW Audio 1960 Cable 4 wire ($2,000 USD), 2.5.
nope, thats a new $2K cable.Are you offering all for 2k ?
nope, thats a new $2K cable.
Well this cable pushed the sub bass deeper and sub bass hits harder. The 2.5 doesnt really needs it but with a good amp and dac it really scales. Makes the 2.5 sound like a headphone. On a dap the cable produces borderline excessive bass so no need to eq bass. Mids are very clear and 3D and treble extends but never too harsh. How's the sound compare to that Virgin ?

Good question. On a dap the Virginia. On a very good amp the 1960 4 Wire. The 1960 2 wire has even more bass but the 4 wire has a bit wider sound stage. So virgin or the PW ?

With the 2.5 then Virginia.Which one best suited for all occasions ?

same model comes in a 2 wire but sound stage is not as wide. The 2 wire would be perfect for the IE800 if only it could exchange its cable. The cable looks quite dope. Wish they would make them thinner like ie800 cables, because otherwise it might be weighty for IEMs.

2 to 3.5 hrs a day 7 days aweekOh, don't worry. They can change their cable if you're brave enough :veryevil:
On the serious side, your setup looks really cool! Guess metal has another level of definition with it. You're taking it outside or when you travel, or it is an inside setup?
(I'm too afraid to take ie800 outside for example, but Classics 99 don't have a scratch after being taken outside, Always looking for other interesting headphones / IEMs)
